How do I apply to register on this site? |

Registration on this site is only available to people with an identifiable link to one or more of the families who have family trees here. It only applies to the Family Tree parts of the site.
The main requirements for registration are:
1. You should be a relative, albeit a distant cousin in many cases, but related to someone already listed OR someone who should be listed on the site.
2. You should be prepared to contribute to the site, including providing personal information as well as modifications, augmentation, amplifications and additions to the data. The MINIMUM requirement is sufficient links to show yourself on the tree.
3. You must agree to protect the privacy of the data of all living persons on the site. Violations will lead to immediate termination of access privileges and could be cause for legal action.
To proceed, go to the Family Tree page and click on 'Login' (near the top-right hand corner). From there select "Request new user account". Complete the registration form, and click "Request new user account" at the bottom. If you are unsure whether you are a 'relative' contact us, so we can help you identify any possible connection. We are unable to establish full access to the site until that is confirmed.
We'll endevour to establish your account as quickly as possible. However, please bear in mind that International Time Zones may mean it is the following day (your time) before the process is completed.
Remember that the security of your password is vital in protevting the privacy of your own as well as all other family members information here, so keep it safe. We recommend that you do change your password from time to time. Also note that we cannot access your password. If you forget it, use the "Request new password" on the Login page to have a nnew one emailed to you.
